Charlie St. Cloud
September 25, 2009
Since security is so high and mighty at the Eclipse sets, @natski83 and I took a little adventure to the Zac Efron set. Yes, we’re fans, get over it
Have you seen him in 17 Again? Hello abs
I’m loving all this filming going on in Vancouver! We’re the Hollywood North!
What a difference this set was. It was completely open! You were able to walk around freely, only when they were rolling did you have to stop and be quiet.
The scene was taking place at a restaurant in Richmond. It was all interior scenes, so you couldn’t see the actors doing their jobs, but you could hear on the crews radios who was there. From what we could hear, Zac Efron was there *squeeee* and Amanada Crew ( who literally ran into US in vancouver haha).
It was a night shoot – there were extras there to walk by the outside patio of the restaurant and had a beautiful backdrop of the marina. I snapped a couple pics below.
We weren’t there for very long when we saw a bit of movement to the left of us. We walked over, and who do we see walking to his car? ZAC EFRON!
From what I could see (in the dark no less) He was wearing a grey tshirt, jeans and his hair was styled out of his face, like previous set photos. I didn’t have my camera ready (DAMN IT!) So I couldn’t sneak a picture! He got into his car, and he was driven off. There were a group of fans across the street that he rolled down the window for and waved – lucky tweens!!
It was nice to see (and hear stories) that Zac stops for his fans for photos or autographs. I was talking with a girl on set who was there the previous day, and she said when Zac wrapped, he did a group photo with the people that waited for him. It’s stories like these that make me want to go to more sets – and seeing the celebs aren’t bad either
I took a few photos of the set – but no Zac – maybe next week? We hope! Until next time – xoxo lol
Forks Police Station Filming
September 24, 2009
After work yesterday I went to the Eclipse filming yesterday. They were filming scenes at Charlie’s Police Station.
This is the most open a set has ever been – and probably will be- for Eclipse. Luckily you were able to take pictures, and if you had a good enough camera, you could catch RPattz and Kristen – and Charlie! Mine are ok, but I don’t have any fancy lenses for my camera (yet) so mine are not as clear as the ones that are available from PUNK’d or Splash.
I’ve included a picture that hasn’t been cropped in to see the actors to demonstrate just how far away you were, and how good of a camera you really need for those clear photos.
The first 4 are from when Charlie, Bella and Edward are having a discussion and Edward walks away. Like I said, not the best photos, but it was fun just being able to see the filming occur. They did maybe 5 or 6 takes of that scene.
After that scene, they started moving all the equipment around and put up the big black screens again. At this time they were resetting for another scene. There was a large truck that wet down the side street and crew were moving all the cars around on the side street with Washington plates.
We spotted Edwards new Volvo on the side street (I have nothing against the new one, I actually like it better than the first one, but that’s just my opinion). Then, Rob and Kristen were in the new Volvo and this was going to be a scene of Edward driving into the police station. (Yes, Robert drove, and yes, it was funny watching him try to reverse drive lol, it didn’t look like he was all that comfortable). They did this scene about 5 or 6 times as well. Basically, Edward doesn’t look very happy driving to the station and Bella is just in the passenger seat.
After this scene it was a wrap, and off we went!
Again, very cool to see the actors playing their characters and see a scene being made.
Enjoy the pictures!
Bella’s Florida House Filming
September 23, 2009
I was lucky enough to be one of the only fans at this set. It’s 2 minutes from my house, and couldn’t believe it when I spotted it! There were no filming signs around or anything, so unless you lived in, or scoutted out the neighbourhood, you would have had no idea.
Thankfully I had my little pocket camera, which would later bring me bad luck. I was able to get some pictures of the house once they finished filming, and whenI got home to download the pictures, my card was CORRUPTED! I couldn’t believe my luck! Being the only one there, and I only had one lousy photo out of probably 20 (I went camera happy!).
Thankfully London Drugs was able to retrieve my photos (along with the other 1200 photos) and I can share them with you
The only people that were on set (when I was able to go after work) was Bella (Kristen Stewart) and her mom, Renee (Sarah Clarke). I found out from one of the paparazzi that Robert Pattinson was there earlier in the day (early wrap) but he could only get photos of his feet entering the trailer because Summit had him covered with umbrellas.
You were able to walk thru the set – The walkway in front of the house was sectioned off, but when they weren’t filming you could walk thru. When I, or anyone, walked thru, a PA would walk beside you so you with an umbrellla up so you couldn’t see what was going on, and of course, they “don’t know” what’s fiming (even though all the directors chairs were out and said “Twilight:Eclipse” on them). When I walked thru, I was able to see Kristen in her obvious wig, and Sarah Chalke lounging on their chairs (just like the pictures previously taken by PUNK’D) but with the PA’s there, there was no way I could sneak a picture.
Once everything was a wrap, and the black screens started to come down, I was able to take some pictures.
They accessorized the house with some beach apparel (beaded door way, wind charms, fake sea gulls) and added some fake palm trees in the front.
The first group of photos are from the day of filming, and the last 3 are from the day after to show a before/after. Not too much of a difference, but just to show
Enjoy the photos! Please keep the tags up, and if you repost them, please let me know. Thanks!
100 Monkey’s – Sept 12th Show
September 22, 2009
The first show of the 100 Monkeys was at the Rickshaw Theatre in East Van. Not the best area for 500-700 girls to be hanging around, but it was a good sized venue all the same. After waiting nervously outside (you know, after seeing east van’s finest!) we were in! I got @natski83 and I a free 100 Monkey’s Poster from one of the promoters, so I knew we were off to a good start
When we got in, I spotted Nardwuar – found out he interviewed the boys the next day! Here’s the youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw6PowEYANc I got a picture with him, because he reminds me of old school MuchMusic haha.
Nardwuar wasn’t the only person I would recognize that night! Who walks up the aisle right beside @natski83 and I? Elizabeth Reaser! We were lucky enough to ask for a photo (no one was bothering her-I don’t think anyone even noticed her!) She was very sweet, stopped for a photo and off she went to enjoy the show!
Later that night we also discovered Nikkie Reid was there with her boyfriend Paris Lestis (H1N1′s ex har ahr) and the one and only Stephanie Meyer! The were all escorted to a VIP section beside the stage.
Around 10:30, the boys were finally on! And what a show – they always put so much energy into their shows and the crowd always gets 100% into it. At the Backstage Lounge they made up a song about David Bowie, and this night they made up a song for Acorns. Completly random, but gotta love it.
One of the great things about the Monkeys is that they can all play the instruments on stage – so each song they switch it up – one minute you’re on keyboard, then next you’re on guitar.
I love these guys live! I hear they might play another show in October – fingers crossed!
Enjoy the pictures!

100 Monkeys – Sept 20th Show!
September 21, 2009
Last night, Sept 20th was the @100MonkeysMusic show at the Backstage Lounge. Luckily I was one of the lucky 150 people that was able to grab tickets before the show sold out in under 12 hours! The Monkeys put on a great show – as usual! After the show, there was an autograph session! Thankfully I brought my cd…just in case, and it worked out in my favour. Got them to sign that, and my ticket! Pictures below.
The first few are of the band playing live – they did, as usual, a song made up from a word an audience member shouts out. This time it was David Bowie- love Ziggy Stardust!
Xavier Samuel was there as well. He was walking about freely watching the opening band, and then someone spotted him for a picture, and all the twifans went in for a picture. After that, he watched the Monkeys perform in the backroom. Thankfully I was able to meet him after the show outside. He was very nice and stopped for anyone who asked for a picture/autograph. He is super cute, and love his accent
Earlier in the day, @natski83 and I ran into the lovely Sam Bradley! He’s playing a show at The Venue Friday, Sept 25th. He was nice to stop for a photo! I told him I was seeing him on Friday, and he was nice to introduce us to his Mom. Such a sweetheart!
Not even 2 minutes later, who do we see entering the hotel from a cab? ROB AND KRISTEN! Yes, we saw the impossible!
And let me say one thing- I don’t believe they are a couple nor did they act like a couple. People need to differentiate On screen from OFF screen.
It happened so quickly that neither of us could get a picture ( weren’t standing around with our cameras at the ready) but we saw those two with our own eyes! YEP!
After that we ran into Alex Meraz – the fiesty Paul of the wolf pack. Now that was probably one of the best encounters yet! He stopped for a photo [and wow does he hold you tight
] and then he stood and talked with us for a bit. Found out Sunday was his only day off. He’s been here for a week and a half and has another 2 and a half to go. He asked us where we were from, told him we were locals. He told us about fans who have been coming from all over the world. We told him about the 100 Monkeys show -he told us he wasn’t invited – but we told him he was more than welcome to come with us
Sadly he said no, said he was going to relax on his one day off. Said our “nice to meet you’s” and he was off… SUCH a nice guy! and oh so lovely on the eyes lol.
I’d say yesterday was very successful
You’re welcome to use the photos, but please, DO NOT remove the tags! Thanks!
*EDIT: I think in future, if I’m lucky enough to see Rob and Kristen, I’ll keep it to myself and friends. I’m just stating what I saw, and my opinion. People need to relax. I just wanted to share my photos of the 100 Monkeys, not focus on Rob and Kristen *
